HILLCREST PARK OVERVIEW

This 30+ acre gem of a park has something for everyone; multiple picnic shelters, several playgrounds, sports facilities (tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields), hiking trails through towering evergreen trees, and ample open space.

The centerpiece of Mount Vernon’s oldest park (circa 1924) is the old Hillcrest Lodge - A large (3,142 sq ft) restored log cabin with room for up to 200 guests, which can be rented for private events. The lodge features an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, a massive stone fireplace, and a spacious commercial-style kitchen. Just outside you’ll find a large fire pit for outdoor cooking and a gated garden area. Free WiFi is also available in the lodge for all renters.

In addition to the lodge, Hillcrest Park also features multiple covered picnic areas that are also available for rental, including the large gazebo with fire pit that can accommodate as many as 50 guests.
